Your safety is our priority and we want to ensure that you as our buyer are always protected. Rest assured that all payments that you make through Stitch Up will be covered by our Buyer Protection.

What is Buyer Protection?

• It’s all about keeping your money safe – when you pay for your order on Stitch Up, we safely deposit your money in Stitch Up’s account. We only release your money to the seller once you’ve received the item. If you like what you see and confirm that you have received your order by clicking “item received” on our website, we will release your money to the seller. Haven’t received your order? Don’t worry, we will refund you in full if you never received the order from the seller. You can learn more about our Payment Protection policy HERE.
• What about returns? Received an item and it was not as promised? You have the right to return the item and we’ll gladly process a refund for it. You can learn more about our return policy HERE.
• It protects you against fraud – Your safety is our priority which is why we closely monitor all activity on our site to ensure our buyers can enjoy a safe and pleasing pre-loved shopping experience.
• It keeps your data safe – Under no circumstances will we share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary for the process, i.e., the seller requires your address to ship your item to you. Keeping your data protected and safe is of utmost importance to us.

To ensure you are covered for Buyer Protection, it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure they purchase their items through Stitch Up and not to change the status of their order to “item received” unless the item has indeed been received and is as promised.

What isn’t covered by Buyer Protection?

• If the item was not purchased on the Stitch Up platform
• If you have made a direct payment/paid via cash in person to sellers selling their items on Stitch Up, you will not be protected by Buyer Protection.
• If you choose to purchase an item that is listed under our prohibited items list, consider that the listing clearly shows that the item is not allowed to be sold on Stitch Up.
